At twelve years old I had a fascination with Monopoly. I should have realized then that I would have a career in Real Estate. As the daughter of a psychologist and a politician, I always assumed a career in social service. I attended College in upstate New York and studied Sociology. I continued on and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work at Simmons College in Boston in 1984. Being from New York City, Boston was a smooth transition and I remained there for 25 years, always hoping that someday I would live in the countryside.
From the beginning, I had an interest in houses. My brother and sister had little interest in helping my dad around the house and I became his helper. My grandfather was a house painter and I eventually started my own company “Interior Motives” during graduate school. I launched the company and kept it running smoothly while I held a social work position at Beth Israel Hospital. My social work experience has assisted me in supporting customers as they make major life transitions from one location to another.
I bought my first renovation project when I was 25 years old and have continued to do a project a year. This has given me great insight and enthusiasm for helping my customers. I also have a team of trusted subcontractors for meeting those home improvement goals.
I have been a Realtor since 1987. I served as a Vice President of a 110-person office in Brookline, MA. Since 2003, I have been serving as a Realtor in the Pioneer Valley. I love what I do. I feel that it is a privilege to be such an integral part of people’s lives as they participate in a huge life event-buying and selling a home.
I have lived in the Conway since 2003 and love being in the country. I have a 14 year old son and nine year old daughter. We enjoy sports, music, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. This is an amazing area and I feel that we have found a little piece of heaven. I especially enjoy working with buyers relocating to this extraordinary area.
